1. Are programs offered by IMT CDL affiliated to any university?
Ans. IMT - CDL has been recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC), Ministry of HRD, Government of India, vide their letter No. DEC/Recog/IMT/07/5966, dated 4th October, 2007 for offering distance education management programs.
2. Whether we will get Diploma or Degree after the completion of the course?
Ans. Being an Institute, IMT-CDL can provide the PG Diploma which will bear the recognition of DEC. Degree is provided only by University and Institutes can provide only Diploma. Even IIMs being institutes, provide only Diploma.
3. Does the Degree awarded by the university is recognized for Government job?
Ans. 2 Years Advanced PGDM Diploma awarded by IMT-CDL under Distance education is valid for all government jobs.
4. What is the eligibility criterion?
Ans. Working executives with graduation degree (10+2+3 or equivalent) in any discipline

6. Does the fee include the charges for books?
Ans. Study Material in the form of Printed Self Instructional Material materials are provided by the university at no extra cost. These printed learning materials are designed to cover complete course content and ensures quality. Printed material is also designed to make the subject matter self-explanatory and easy to understand.
7. What is the Mode of Payment of fees?
Ans. Payments are accepted by Non-Refundable Demand Draft only, in favour of IMT-CDL, payable at Ghaziabad. The academic fee for the Distance Education Programs is payable for the entire year at the beginning of the relevant academic session
8. What is the procedure of taking the admission in the above prescribed courses?

9. Are class room sessions conducted during the program?
Ans. Online Class room sessions in the form of Personal contact program (PCP) are contacted for a period of 48 hrs spreading over a semester
10. How can student attend the online Personal Contact Program (PCP) over internet?
Ans. Student can join the Online Personal Contact Program (PCP) over internet form their home, office or any cyber cafe.
11. When are the End-term & Supplementary examinations conducted?
Ans. End Term Examinations (ETE) are held in the months of June & December every year. Provision of Supplementary Exams are also provided in the month of March & September every year to clear the backlogs and left outs.
12. What is the criterion of the distribution of Marks?
Ans. Each subject consists of 100 marks with the following bifurcations:
70 marks – ETE (min. 28 marks required to pass)
20 marks – Assignments
10 marks – PCP
(min.12 marks required to pass in Assignments+PCP)
In total 45% is the minimum pass percentage required to clear a subject.
13. Are the Grace marks allowed in case of the failure in examination?
Ans. Grace Marks are allowed per year in case a student falls short by 3 marks. These marks can be availed to make up the shortfall in passing percentage in either one subject or maximum two subjects.
14. If a student doesn’t attend the PCP, then how the marks will be allotted?
Ans. In that case you will have to secure minimum 12 marks in assignment out of 30 {Assignment (20) + PCP (10)} to qualify the subject besides 28 marks separately for written exam. However, aggregate marks to pass a paper is 45%.
15. What is the mode of exams and assignments?
Ans. As per now exams and assignments are off-line with subjective questions. However the proposal to make assignments and exams on-line is under consideration.
16. Is there any maximum time period allotted for the Validity of the program?
Ans. Two-Year Program shall have to be completed within the time-frame of maximum 4 years provided the admission is taken to continue the course as per the policy of IMT-CDL.
17. What about the placements in IMT-CDL?
Ans. IMT Centre for Distance Learning announces the set up of Placement Cell for extending assistance to the students looking for change in present employment for better career growth or summer internship as well as for the students undergoing any management courses.
